Athlete Coaching and Official Fund
Individual  grants up to $500 
Grants  available for Broome Sports Association Talent Development Athletes Only
Athlete Development Support 
Grants are available of $500 dollars towards travel expenses  for an individual TDP athlete aged 13-18 who has been selected by their SSA for  representative training, trials or competition. One application per athlete per  year. Should an athlete progress to selection in a Country State, State or  National level team or competition, an additional $500 will be considered. 
Coach and Official Development 
We will contribute $250 dollars to a TDP  athlete in a coach or official capacity, towards participation in accredited  coaching or official courses. Courses must be approved by the relevant State  Sporting Association and does not include level one or entry level  qualifications. One application per athlete per year.
Criteria for all grants. includes - 
 
- Applicants must reside in the Shire of Broome  and be affiliated with a local sporting club/association and athletes must be  an approved member of the TDP program to apply.  
- Have the support of the relevant local sporting club/association  and submit a letter of support with their application.  
- Development must be affiliated with the relevant State Sporting  Association or equivalent. 
- Development opportunity must result in benefiting the relevant  club/association. (Does not include funding for equipment or membership fees.) 
- The BSA does not fund retrospectively.  Applications are to be received no less than two weeks before the proposed  event.  
- Nominated activity must link with a State Sporting Association  talent pathway, and evidence of SSA support is required.  
- Applications must be completed on the official Broome Sports  Association form. 
- An acquittal form must be completed no  later than one  month after the activity, and no further funding will be available to the  relevant club/athlete until acquittal is received and approved.  
- Applications require unanimous decision from BSA committee to be  approved.
